How long have you been attending Camp Seale Harris? 2 years
Which camp programs are you working this summer? Jr/Sr Weeks, Birmingham Day Camp
Is there one year of camp that stands out among the rest? Birmingham Day Camp 2017 stands out to me because it was my first year. It was so fun and I made so many new friends!
What was the biggest change from your time as a camper to your role as a staff member? I was never a camper! 🙂
What is your favorite thing about being a Camp Seale Harris staff member? I love getting to know other diabetics – campers and staff.
What is your most memorable camper experience or camp memory? My favorite memory was encouraging my campers as they crossed the ropes course at Coastal Camp Seale Harris last year.
What is your favorite activity at camp? Singing the camp songs.
What is your favorite camp song? Herman the Worm
What is your favorite camp meal or snack? Ice Cream
How is CSH helping you “live well” with diabetes? Having others to talk to about diabetes is so helpful! I keep up with a lot of my diabetic friends year round. It’s great because we “get each other.”
What is an interesting fact about you? I danced for 9 years. I did ballet, modern ballet, pointe and hip-hop.
