After my daughter’s diagnosis in February 2001, Camp Seale Harris was an awesome blessing. Upon her first visit that summer, I saw a very shy, introverted girl, who felt some level of embarrassment from being the “only one” in her school who had it, blossom like a flower & talk freely to strangers…because they were “just like her.”

Kathleen, age 27, today

Although we all have differences, regardless of other similarities, this 10-year-old got to feel a little bit normal & this helped her so much adjust to her disease. She went to camp several times, even being a CIT (Counselor-in-Training) one summer. That was her last visit because since then she has been working. She just recently turned 27 and is doing great. Thank you Camp Seale Harris for all you did for my girl and all you have done and continue to do for others.
